IRONWELD 316L TIG Rods are manufactured from low carbon stainless steel to reduce carbide precipitation during welding. This improves corrosion resistance in the weld zone and helps prevent cracking making them ideal for critical stainless steel applications.

The addition of molybdenum enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion especially in harsh or chloride rich environments.
