Details

The Klingspor ST 358 is a plain, flexible backing pad for fibre discs. Its medium support follows the contours of a workpiece and is suited to surface grinding, finish grinding and rust removal where controlled contact is required.

Sold as a full selling pack: 1 pad. One ordered quantity supplies the complete box, pack or set shown for the chosen SKU.

Features and benefits

  • Flexible plain face supports fibre discs on contours.
  • Medium pad support for surface and finish grinding.
  • Temperature-resistant construction for the intended grinding operation.
  • Supplied with the locking nut for the fibre-disc mounting.

Match the pad diameter to the fibre disc and the mounting connection to the grinder. The flexible face differs from the hard, ribbed ST 358 A, which provides firmer support for heavier stock removal and edge work. Choose the support appropriate to the job and the disc grade for the required finish. The selected pad and fibre disc each have their own speed ratings, and the complete assembly must operate within both limits.
