Details

Klingspor CS 416 Y abrasive belts combine zirconia-alumina grain with a strong Y-polyester cloth backing. The resin-bonded, semi-open construction provides space for sanding debris and is designed for high cutting performance and useful life on stainless steel and other listed materials, including surfaces that tend to load an abrasive.

Sold individually: 1 belt (each). One ordered quantity supplies one individual piece.

  • Semi-open grain spacing provides room for sanding debris.
  • Y-polyester backing supports demanding machine sanding.
  • Choose the belt size and grit for the machine and intended surface finish.

Select the belt width and running length for the machine, then choose the grit for initial removal or subsequent refinement. The manufacturer specifies this belt for stainless steel, plastic and other listed applications. Match material suitability to the actual workpiece and use the correct tracking and tension for the equipment. Selection and use

Match both belt width and running length to the machine before ordering. Choose the grit for the amount of stock removal and the required finish; a coarser grit removes material more quickly, while finer grits refine the scratch pattern.
