Hi-Tec Oils Biocut Q3755 Soluble Cutting Fluid is a semi-synthetic coolant for general machining and grinding of ferrous metals and aluminium alloys. It mixes with water to provide lubrication, cooling and corrosion protection without a sticky residue.

Key Features

  • Stable water-mixed emulsion: Forms a milky-white emulsion at 5% concentration and tolerates water hardness up to 300 ppm calcium carbonate.
  • Lubrication and cooling: Supports a high-quality machined surface finish and low chip residue, with a manufacturer-reported DIN chip result below 3%.
  • Clean-running formulation: Biostatic and triazine-free, with no phosphorus, sulphur or chlorine, to support coolant-system cleanliness.
  • System-material compatibility: Compatible with the metals commonly used in coolant systems and most seals, hoses and packing polymers designed for petroleum-based lubricants.

Before You Buy

  • Use at 2–10% in water according to the machining operation, material and severity. Check machine and workpiece requirements and the product data sheet before mixing.
  • Not recommended for brass because copper soaps can form. For brass machining, see the Hi-Tec Solcut QLB2 range. Obtain material-specific advice for seals and hoses where required.
  • For long-term storage, keep containers tightly closed in a dry, ventilated area at 0–40°C. The manufacturer states at least six months under these conditions. Follow the label and Safety Data Sheet for handling, personal protection and disposal.
