Hi-Tec Oils Solcut QLB2 Soluble Cutting Fluid A semi-synthetic, biostable machining and grinding fluid for applications ranging from brass and aluminium machining in transfer systems to steel machining in single-sump machines.

Key Features

  • Forms transparent emulsions, which can become semi-translucent in hard water.
  • Combines the cleanliness and detergency of synthetic fluids without their associated sticky residues.
  • Non-staining to aluminium, with ferrous corrosion protection and improved sump cleanliness.
  • Under normal conditions, Hi-Tec reports that 90% of tramp oil can float out over a weekend shutdown, allowing removal to extend sump life.
  • Emulsions can be split using conventional effluent-treatment techniques.
