Hi-Tec Oils Super MolyTac EP-2 Grease is a tacky lithium-complex grease containing 3% molybdenum disulphide. It is formulated for heavy loads and shock loads in automotive, marine, agricultural and industrial equipment.

Key Features

  • Molybdenum load protection: Molybdenum disulphide provides extreme-pressure and anti-wear properties to help resist scuffing under high and shock loading.
  • Adhesive, cohesive lubrication: A shear-stable tackiness agent helps the grease stay in place and resist squeeze-out.
  • Stable consistency: Shear and oxidation resistance help limit thinning and thickening during extended service.
  • Water resistance: Resists washout where water contamination cannot be avoided, including elevated-temperature service.
  • Rust and corrosion inhibition: Protects plain, ball and roller bearings and other greased components.
  • Heavy-duty applications: Suitable applications include chassis joints, universal and CV joints, kingpins, ball joints, gears and couplings where equipment requirements are met.

Before You Buy

  • Check the equipment manufacturer’s grade, performance and operating requirements. Only service bearings designed for relubrication.
  • Do not mix with greases gelled with bentone or aluminium-complex thickeners. Check compatibility before mixing greases.
  • The usable temperature range is −20 to 180°C, with intermittent lubrication protection up to 200°C. Dropping point is not a continuous operating rating. Follow the label and Safety Data Sheet.
