Details

Hi-Tec Oils Soluble Cutting Fluid A chlorine-free, borate-containing soluble cutting oil for light to moderate machining, including boring, milling, drilling, tapping, threading, broaching, turning, reaming and grinding.

Key Features

  • Forms stable white emulsions with good emulsion reserve and low foaming tendency.
  • Provides lubrication and cooling between the cutting tool and work surface, supporting tool life and surface finish.
  • Provides rust protection for steel and ferrous machined metals at water-to-oil dilutions up to 60:1.
  • Contains a biocide to resist bacterial degradation that can cause staining, corrosion and reduced emulsion life.
  • Contains no free phenolics or nitrites.

Use and Care

Add the oil slowly to water while mixing; never add water to the oil. Monitor emulsion strength and remove chips, grinding debris and tramp oil to help maintain coolant performance.
