IRONWELD ER70S-6 is a copper coated mild steel TIG rod with higher levels of deoxidizers than standard steel fillers. This allows the rod to produce clean sound welds even when welding over mill scale light rust or residual contaminants.

The result is improved wetting smooth bead shape and strong ductile welds with consistent penetration.
