The IRONWELD IW6025 is an industrial-strength, high-pressure Nitrogen regulator specifically engineered for applications requiring high delivery pressures, such as HVAC pressure testing, purging, and pneumatic loading. While standard inert gas regulators often max out at 1,000 kPa, the IW6025 is a dedicated high-pressure unit capable of delivering up to 5,000 kPa (approx. 725 PSI) with absolute precision.
The Solid Brass Advantage: Engineered for High-Pressure Safety
In high-pressure nitrogen service, where delivery pressures can reach 50 bar (5,000 kPa), the structural integrity of the regulator is a non-negotiable safety factor. Many competitors use lightweight aluminum or mixed-alloy bodies that can become brittle or fail under extreme stress. The IW6025 is built with a forged solid brass body.
- Maximum Structural Security: Forged brass offers superior tensile strength and density. In a high-pressure environment, this ensures the regulator body can safely contain sudden pressure surges without the risk of fracturing—a critical advantage over aluminum-hybrid designs.
- Corrosion & Wear Resistance: Nitrogen is often used in outdoor site work (such as HVAC installs). Solid brass is naturally resistant to the elements, preventing the "pitting" and corrosion that can compromise the integrity of lighter alloy regulators over time.
- Thermal Integrity: During rapid high-pressure discharge, gas temperatures can fluctuate significantly. The heavy mass of the solid brass body acts as a thermal stabilizer, ensuring consistent delivery pressure and preventing internal components from sticking.
