The IRONWELD IW6012 is a specialized, industrial-grade Argon regulator designed for advanced TIG and MIG welding setups that require simultaneous gas distribution from a single cylinder. Equipped with dual vertical flowmeters, the IW6012 is the definitive tool for back-purging applications or running two welding machines from a single gas source without sacrificing precision.

The Solid Brass Advantage: Engineering for Critical Safety

In high-pressure gas management, material quality is a safety requirement. While competitors often use a mixture of copper and aluminium to reduce production costs, the IW6012 features a forged solid brass body.

  • Enhanced Overpressure Safety: Argon cylinders are typically pressurized to 20,000 kPa (approx. 3,000 PSI). The dense, forged structure of solid brass provides significantly higher tensile strength than aluminium-hybrid alternatives. In the event of a sudden pressure surge or internal valve failure, a solid brass body is designed to contain the stress far more effectively, reducing the risk of catastrophic body rupture.
