Details
The Klingspor GK 555 is a reusable rubber drum for mounting compatible CS 310 X and CS 451 X abrasive spirabands. Its cylindrical support holds the short closed-loop abrasive band for controlled, localised sanding with compatible handheld rotary equipment.
Sold as a full selling pack: 1 accessory. One ordered quantity supplies the complete box, pack or set shown for the chosen SKU.
Features and benefits
- Reusable carrier for correctly sized Klingspor spirabands.
- Rubber drum supports the band across its working width.
- Separate drum and abrasive allow worn bands to be replaced.
- Drum diameter, width and shank must match the band and machine.
The spiraband takes the abrasive load and determines suitability for wood, metal, plastic or coatings. Select a band that matches the drum’s diameter and width so it fits snugly across the carrier. Once the abrasive is worn, replace the band and inspect the drum before reuse. Keep the operating speed within the ratings for the chosen drum, band and machine; a larger drum does not share the same speed limit as every smaller size.
