Product information
Details
The Klingspor SW 501 is a flexible abrasive sponge for hand finishing low and high profiles. Its two abrasive sides conform to the workpiece, producing a satin scratch pattern while resisting creasing and breaking during normal sanding use.
Sold as a full selling pack: 2 sponges. One ordered quantity supplies the complete box, pack or set shown for the chosen SKU.
Features and benefits
- Two usable abrasive sides.
- Flexible construction for low and high profiles.
- Designed to resist creasing and breaking.
- Washable and reusable aluminium-oxide abrasive.
The sponge supports hand finishing around shaped edges and raised or recessed profiles, where a rigid sanding face may not follow the workpiece evenly. Choose the stated abrasive grade for the starting surface and the required finish. Both abrasive faces can be used, and the washable construction allows sanding residue to be removed during maintenance. Dimensions and the two-sponge selling quantity identify the supplied pack below.

Selection and use
Choose the grade for cleaning, surface preparation or final finishing. Keep pressure even so the abrasive follows the workpiece without concentrating the cut on one area. A flexible pad or foam block can conform to a profile, while the stated face count and shape determine which surfaces can be used.
