Vio-Flux High Activity Liquid Soft Solder Flux is an inorganic acid-based, high-strength flux formulated for efficient soft soldering on metals that are normally resistant to wetting by solder. Its blend of acids provides high activity at room temperature, rapidly scavenging oxides and other impurities from the metal surface.

This cleaning action promotes adhesion of soft solders, typically tin–lead (Sn-Pb) or tin–zinc (Sn-Zn) alloys. The flux produces strong joints and is recommended for a range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in plumbing, radiator repairs, metalworking and general industrial soldering.
