The Serpent & Dove STMEC800 is a magnetic welding earth clamp for connecting a welding return lead to steel workpieces. It is useful where a conventional clamp cannot reach an edge, including work inside tanks and vessels.
Features and specifications
- Model: STMEC800.
- Spring-loaded copper electrode, rated by the manufacturer for up to 800A.
- 88mm diameter.
- Approximate magnetic clamping force: 250N on steel 3mm thick or thicker.
- Lever handle for removal from the workpiece.
